Some examples

Here are links to several different stories written by Raumati Beach School students. These stories are all published on our school website - www.raumatibeach.school.nz.

The story written by the the Year3/4 class was written specifically as a whole class story for publication to the school intranet and web site.  Each child in the class wrote one path of the story.

The first group is a couple of examples of stories from a Year 5/6 class written during Term 2, 2001. These are 'Pick-a-path' stories specifically written for publication to the internet.

In the senior school a couple of classes worked on converting already written stories to 'hypertext' stories. 'Where is James?' is a converted mystery story that the author worked on to add some extra endings for. 'Cry Hiroshima' is written in a first person documentary style and the hypertext links work to 'turn' the page. The third story in this group, 'Mr Linden's Library', was specifically written for web publication and is a dual ending story.
