Jesse, the only dinosaur that Charlotte had ever known, was dying. Charlotte wanted to help but didn't know what to do.
Charlotte stood by biting her fingers madly and thiking furiously while Jesse was screaming in agony.
It was too late. While Charlotte was still trying to think of a solution, Jesse died there, on that very spot on the driveway.
